Monday morning of the long Thanksgiving Day weekend.

A post at Uncle Gnarley about the latest NALCOR-Hydro report into future electricity developments is titled “The Lies of Muskrat get a Little Clearer.”

A political science professor at Memorial tweets about a CBC story about the Auditor General’s report into administration at NALCOR-Hydro. How did that happen? he asks rhetorically.

Both are talking about things that were in the news as recently as they could be. And yet both were talking about events in the past.

Current events are not current.

Doesn’t make sense until you understand how and why that is so.
