Welcome to all the new subscribers and a special welcome to the folks who went from the free e-mails list to the inner sanctum of subscribering.

Big growth going on these days in Bond Papers subscribers. It’s encouraging, gratifying, and a bit intimidating even after 18 years of banging out my thoughts about what’s going on in the world around us.

This week saw an unusually high output for this space. I used to write every day but that hasn’t been sustainable for a while. I’ll likely drop back to the usual pattern of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It may pick back up if there are lots of things on the go.

Like Thursday. What a news day.
