First, a short explanation for those who are used to the routine around here of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Short version is that the actual reading list from Friday is now appearing at the end of the long weekend and the normal Monday column will appear on Tuesday. Friday’s column didn’t work despite lots of late-into-the-night edits so the editor pulled it at the last minute. About a book so it fit the Reading List theme for Fridays. It will appear at some point.
Second, the title of this column is a Miss Piggy quote from centuries ago.
It riffs off the first suggested reading, which is a warning about Artificial Intelligence now that folks are excited by the latest version of AI to go viral.
Read on, there’s other stuff to amuse you as you get your head back into the coming week.
Third, Tuesday’s column is about politics the week the House closes for the summer. Bit of fish. Bit of Lot Stuff. But an interesting pattern when you look at it.
In the meantime, read on.
