Bit of a different list this week.

Abacus Data polls Canadians about lots of things.

Here’s a post at the company blog about conspiracy theories.

Almost half the people polled believed major events are the result of a small group working against the rest of us.

Just let that sink in.

Then take a look at poll results on trust in news media and politicians.

The similarity between Liberal voters and left voters is the result of the big shift to the left for the party that normally appealed to centrist voters as well.

Look at the Centre and Right voters.

Those folks are not the Liberals’ target audience, which leaves them available to the CPC.


Eric Grenier invited David Coletto to write about this research at Grenier’s Substack The Writ.

Check the Coletto piece out, especially the advice at the end about what the research means. The same advice applies to Newfoundland and Labrador at the provincial level.
