Dogwhistles meet Looney Tunes. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s marketing geniuses want you to see her as an American western gunslinger but she comes off more like Yosemite Sam, complete with an imaginary pistol in each hand.

There is never any point in trying to deal rationally with arguments that themselves are foolish, fanciful, or ridiculous. You cannot reason people out of an idea they did not reason themselves into, after all.
