In a reaction piece a week or so ago on Here and Now, Pee Sea leader Tony Wakeham sounded like a cabinet minister.
He explained that government was giving money to Kruger in Corner Brook to help them out.
But what was the plan Tony wondered as if he were making a serious point anyone outside his own office might understand.
Well, the plan is what Tony explained: give the company money until it gets through the tough time and pray to Jesus in the meantime the plant doesn’t close.
It’s the same plan as the fishery, basically, as everyone learned last week. Do whatever it takes to get by this little crisis but do not change anything really.
