Fred Hutton is the new minister of the housing corporation.

Most obvious thing in a long while.

And while it’s good, that’s less interesting than the deeply rooted trends this continues, namely ghetto ministries and disjointed government and the use of catchy words stolen from real milestones to label something far less important.

That’s something to watch for on Wednesday. On Monday, there'll be an obit for Brian Mulroney.
