Some of you are likely wondering where the Monday column is.
Well, it’s a subscriber-only podcast: a dozen minutes of me talking about Friday’s cabinet shuffle.
Meanwhile, the bigger column on hydro and electricity developments will come hopefully on Wednesday.
For me, the really big news is that over the weekend I put the finishing touches on a collection of columns to mark the 20th anniversary of Bond Papers in January. There’ll be more news as we get closer to the launch date when you can all get a copy but for now, just know the thing is done from my end. There was a lot of material to go through - something like 13 million words or about 270 books worth of columns - to find just the right combination of pieces to represent a couple of decades of e-scribbling. But the choices are made, the introduction is finished, and I just need to find someone to write the preface.
So, if you are not a subscriber, now’s the time to get on board. Not only will you support my work but you’ll get access to podcasts (there were a few in 2021) and the Substack archive of Bond Papers. Eventually, the content from the old Blogspot site will move over here entirely and that particular space will close.
Otherwise, there are still free columns here going back six months so feel free to catch up on what you missed.
Like the audio format. Would be a nice weekly addition.
